Department of Foreign Languages was established in 1988 as a division in Department of Theoretical Science and became an independent department in 2000. The department has 48 staff members, including 3 full professors and 11 associate professors. The department is responsible for all the foreign language courses taken by bachelors, masters and Ph.D of all disciplines in the university. Languages taught in the department cover English, German, Russian and Japanese. The department offers programs of English Language and Linguistics to bachelors and masters.
