Chinese Language Center was established in 1997 and about 550 international students from 14 countries studied the Chinese Language in the center. An annual enrollment of the Chinese language programs is about 60 and the students are arranged into 4-5 classes. The center has 6 full time and 4 part-time professional language teachers and all the teachers are qualified and have been granted the Certificate of Teaching Chinese Language by the Ministry of Education of China. The programs are prepared to meet the demands of foreign students who intend to study or work or travel in China, or who are interested in Chinese language and culture, and to improve the Chinese language ability of overseas students studying in CUPB.
